The sounds in CODA don't all come from the noise oscillator. We spent months sampling real instruments and then resynthesizing the audio into playable wavetables. We included a Pro Tip tutorial video so you can learn how to harness the power of these unique wavetables. Because a lot of the sounds are generated by wavetables, you have full editing ability and can tweak unison voices, wavetable position and warp modes. This allows you to create and tweak truly hybrid sounds.
75 CUSTOM NOISE SAMPLES
To fully harness the power of Serum, we wanted to create a ton of brand new samples for the noise oscillator.
For those that don't know, the noise oscillator in Serum can load samples. This allows us to create a mixture of organic, acoustic sounds with the natural synthesis engine in Serum.
We also took it a step further and added zero-crossing loop points in most of the samples. This allows you to play up and down the keyboard without a noticeable change in note duration. Check it out below.

Indie Guitars is a collection of 95 guitar loops broken up into song kits. Each kit has chord loops, melody loops and some rhythmic counterpart loop. You can hear these being used in the demo. Every guitar sound you hear, is in this pack.
We recorded only the highest quality guitars: My personal American Jazzmaster (pictured) and a Stratocaster. The Jazzmaster has a very specific and unique tone. We recorded the guitars using a Line 6 Helix for unsurpassed amp modeling into a UAD Apollo and finally into Logic for post processing and editing.
Wet and dry loops are included.
We also created a highly unique drum pack called Indie Drums. These samples and loops and acoustic drums. I've always been into blending acoustic sounds with electronic ones, and if you're trying to get the illenium sound, these are a must.
There are 75 samples and loops in the ESW Indie Drums.
The third and final bonus for Ashes is a personal favorite of the ESW team. We've always wanted to create a piano library for kontakt, especially one that is naturally voiced for EDM, Pop, or Hip Hop production environment. The indie piano is basic, but big sounding. There are only 3 controls plus ADSR on the interface.

After 4 months of painstakingly long days, short nights and regular overdoses on caffeine, you get our largest soundset to date. Ashes comes with 115 Serum presets and 95 NI Massive patches and a bunch of inspirational and easy to use bonuses that totals 3.5 GB of sound bliss.
A top request for ESW soundsets has been to add construction kits and Ashes doesn’t disappoint. It comes with 3 construction kits from the demo.
Ashes is the genre bending soundset for both Xfer Records Serum and NI Massive, pushing Future Bass and mainstream EDM into new boundaries. Inspired by Illenium and Gryffin, it is part uplifiting, part ambient and part rock.
Instead of recreating sounds they’ve already used in their productions, we set out to make sounds that Illenium or Gryffin would actually want to use.
We pushed each synth to it’s limits to bring you the most diverse set of presets. From drop defining chord patches and mix-ready leads to insane key patches and chill pads, this pack has it all. We carefully assigned macros for both synths so you have control over all important elements of any patch.
We’ve also included 2 Ableton Live Templates in addition to the construction kits and the 50 MIDI files that you can learn from or use royalty free in your productions. There are over 215 total drum samples as well as drum loops taken from the demo songs.
