Product Questions
We do not offer any free trials for preset banks, soundsets, or sample packs. Some plugins will come with a free trial.
This is why we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. So you can "test" a product for up to 30 days, and if you don't like it, return it. You can check out our refund policy here.
Of course! All of our samples, presets, and loops are 100% original, and they are completely royalty free. You are free to use them however you want! The only thing you are not allowed to do is sell them in other sample packs, soundsets, and plugins. You can learn more about that in our terms of service.

We like to keep our plugins up-to-date, so every product requires a different version of any given synth.
Each product page will specify which version was used to create the presets for that specific pack. That or a new version is guaranteed to work. However, if you simply keep your plugins up-to-date, you won't have any trouble using our presets.
A resounding yes! We release a lot of free content to the producers who are a part of our community. You can check them out on the free downloads page.
In order to be able to run the presets for Serum, Vital, Massive, ANA2, and Sylenth1 it s strongly advised to make sure you're on the latest version of that synth.
Buckle up buckaroos, this is going to be an explanation and a half.
There are in fact 2 versions of Kontakt.
Kontakt Player - free version
Kontakt Full - paid version
There are 2 types of Kontakt Instruments
Encoded
Non-encoded
Kontakt Player works with Encoded libraries/instruments only.
Kontakt Full doesn't care and will work with any type of library or instrument.
What's an encoded library you ask? It's an instrument that has been sent off to NI, and NI wraps/encodes the NKI files turning them into a library file with serial number that can be registered in Native Access. To do this, the developer of that library/instrument pays Native Instruments to both encode the library and for subsequent serial numbers/licenses.
This is why Kontakt libraries that work with the Player (free version) are more expensive.
Our Kontakt instruments aren't encoded and only work in the full version of Kontakt.
Now, it's important to note that you can have BOTH versions of Kontakt installed on your system. And NI does a very poor job of showing you which is which before you load it up. So make sure if you think you have the full version that you are in fact loading that up in your DAW.

Most sample pack, soundset, and plugin makers make it very clear that all sales are final due to the "nature of digital goods" — but we don't.
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee.
We believe in our products and the value they can add to producers music. But if you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, we offer refunds and or exchanges. We do this because we have all been there. Purchasing a sample pack, plugin, or soundset that looked and sounded like it was a good fit for your music, only to find out after downloading it that it isn't. Echo Sound Works exists to help empower music producers so if you're not happy with a purchase, we want you to be able to swap out that product for another one or get a refund so you can invest that money elsewhere in your music.
To request a refund, email our customer support with your order number. Before doing so, please review our refund policy to confirm your eligibility for a refund.
Questions about accounts
Accounts on our website are solely used to manage your order history and product downloads. This means you cannot voluntarily create an account or make an account for free downloads. However, once you purchase a product on our site, we will automatically create an account using the email address you provide at checkout.
To finish the account set up, on your order email download link, click claim account then follow the 2-3 steps to set up your password.
The password you selected and entered when you first claim your account should be your permanent password. If for some reason you need a new password, you can click the password reset icon on the login page.
If you've forgotten the email address associated with your account (or misspelled your email address during checkout), please email our customer support. Ensure you provide as much information as possible about your purchase(s) to help us locate your account.
We take your privacy and data security seriously. We use industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your personal information.
We also make it a point to only collect data that we need to collect in order to offer you our services. We are in the business of selling sounds, samples, and plugins, not data.
Your downloads never truly expire. We set time limits on the links and download limits (25) to protect the official downloads from warez and piracy. If you need your download link reset just shoot us a message with your order number or the email you used when ordering.

Project files and construction kits have a slightly modified license as covered in our User License.
Yes, you own your compositions that incorporate our samples, loops, and presets. However, you don't own the copyright to our sounds or the individual sounds used in your compositions. This is so other customers can use the same sounds without infringing on your copyright, and vice versa.
For a detailed breakdown of our copyright policy click this LINK.
Our User Agreement prohibits you from using our sounds, samples, presets, loops in isolation, they must be contained in a greater musical context. This means in a beat or song. You can however have sections of your composition where only one sound is playing (like an intro as an example) and that's OK because it's still being used in a greater musical context. You may also not use them to create new samples, loops, or presets to compete with Echo Sound Works or create a competitive product like a sample pack, for example.

We stand behind the quality of the products we make which is why we have a 30 day return/refund policy. However, if a product should be refunded, you do not own that product anymore and lose the rights to our copyright license. Thus you may not use that product in any shape or form. Neither for commercial nor non-commercial purposes. Doing so would be considered copyright infringement.
